DAY 1
Sulthan Bathery – Edakkal caves – Phantom rock – Kolagapara rock- Soochipara water falls or Kanthapara waterfall – Chembra peak- 900 Kandi – Kalpetta
DAY 2
Kalpetta – Kurumbalakotta viewpoint- Banasura sagar dam – Karlad lake – Meenmutty waterfalls – Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary – Kuruvadweep – Pulpally forest road – Muthanga forest or drive in the forest area on the Wayanad Mysore route – Sulthan Bathery
Tips to keep in mind
- Carry light woollens and check for climatic information before you travel so that you are dressed appropriately.
- Wayside cafes and restaurants are limited so take the help of your host to pick the ones that suit you.
- Always carry water and some snacks to keep your thirst and hunger under control.
- Do not travel post 7 pm in the evening as it gets really dark and at night with the wind it can be scary to many.
