  1. Kuruva Island

    Kuruvadweep or Kuruva Island comprises of a cluster of islets over the middle of Kabini River in Wayanad that is popular for the boat rides it offers on specially crafted bamboo rafts.   4. Meenmutty Waterfalls

    Meenmutty Waterfalls is a magnificent falls located near Banasura Sagar Dam. The upper level of the waterfall can be reached by 1.5 km trek from the entry point. Cascading down through multiple tiers from a height of over 800 feet, it is a spectacular fall situated inside thick forest flowing through rocky platform. The falls has major tiers with varying height. The first tier can be reached by walking for about half km from the parking area / main entrance of the falls. The lower tier is smaller one with water collecting into a pool. The pool is safe for swimming with low depth. The second tier can be reached by trekking up through steps built over boulders. The half km path runs along with downstream of the river and offers wonderful views of the stream and thick vegetation. The third tier is the toughest and needs some walking through the stream on slippery rocks with help of ropes. The ascend is steep at few places and this half km stretch takes about 10-15 minutes. The peak on top of third tier offers breath-taking views of Banasura Sagar Dam and surrounding valleys. Meenmutty Falls situated amidst serene location offers wonderful experience to the visitors.

  5. Soochipara waterfalls

    Sentinel Rock Waterfalls also known as Soochipara Waterfalls in Wayanad is one of the biggest waterfalls in Kerala. The view and sound of the Soochipara Falls is really mesmerizing. We can hear the sound of the falls as we walk towards it through the 3 km long path in the forest. The water here cascades down from a height of 100 to 200 ft and this waterfall is an ideal place for trekking and rock climbing. There is a natural pool created below the falls and it entices the visitors with cool clear water to take a dip in it. The pool beneath the waterfall has facilities for rafting, bathing and other recreational water activities. You will find a number of tree huts in the area, which provide amazing views of the Western Ghats. There are a number of springs and shallow pools of water in the area.
